On Saturday, June 9, Women Occupy San Diego hosted Occupy Our Arts, a family-friendly arts festival which took place in Freedom Plaza (formerly the Civic Center).
Intended to highlight the creative side of the Occupy Movement, the city-permitted event included performances by professional dance groups and acrobats, as well as face painting, poetry, comedy skits, street theater and more. The all-day event was enjoyed by hundreds.

Annie- I’m really savoring Field of View. The pictures are engaging and a welcome reprieve from “a world that’s too much with us late and soon.”

The photo of the three beautiful Mexican girls dressed for folklorico dancing speaks volumes about what’s wonderful about San Diego. Thanks for this important reminder about why it matters for the City to be worthy of its people.
