PERSONIFICATION OF WIND
Smoke
hangs over the globe
Blame it on winds
personified by names
originating in uncrossed deserts
howling: seas
Winds
that are said
to carry
a sandstorm of maladies misfortunes
Invisible concussions of heat
that make landfall
Whipped up by fearful cliffs of imagination
into marauding warnings
Winds
that are etymologically
traced back to fiery roots
Stinging dust clouds
taking an eye for an “I”
separating one caravan
into many tribes
