Ted Cruz Poster

By Matthew Rice / Veterans Democratic Club of San Diego

The strongest right we as Americans have is our freedom of speech. On Monday 11 April 2016 at 4pm, we plan to use that speech to PROTEST TED CRUZ in San Diego! He is speaking from 6-8pm at:

Town and Country Resort
500 Hotel Circle North
San Diego, CA 92108

Reinvigorated and fighting for all Americans and Veterans, our club will have a culture of holding elected officials and other leaders to the fire for what they do, or do not do, to help the lives of veterans and their families.  The political world has become a total circus as of late and it is important that the voice of ALL Americans is not drowned out by the hate and obscene treatment towards all minorities coming from the Republican Party.

Senate republicans have a long track record of sending young Americans into war and doing nothing to help them when they return.  Time and time again Republicans shamelessly vote down bills that could help the lives of our Veteran brothers and sisters.

Govtrack rates Ted as the least transparent Republican in the senate with the 3rd highest amount of missed votes and Ted Cruz has put forth ZERO bills that have become law. On other social issues he opposes the prioritization of green energy, immigration reform, a woman’s right to choose,  and has become a major advocate of bigotry towards the gay community.

Ted Cruz is a vile man and the party he stands for cannot and is in no position to represent ALL Americans.  Join us in protest at the Town and Country in Mission Valley! Join us with your group, your friends, your family, and all concerned Americans by bringing signs and lets send a message to Ted Cruz and his donors that he is NOT FIT to be President.

If you need further information, please reach out to us via email at President@SDVetDems.org.

Where might I find clever things to put on a protest sign against Ted Cruz? He’s visiting my hometown Wednesday, April 13, and my daughter and I want to make protest signs.
Plez message me on facebook with sayings or links.
    Thank you,

Let it be known that Frank Gormlie, Patty Jones, Doug Porter, Annie Lane, Brent Beltrán, Anna Daniels, and Rich Kacmar did something necessary and beautiful together for 6 1/2 years. Together, we advanced the cause of journalism by advancing the cause of justice. It has been a helluva ride. "Sometimes a great notion..." (Click here for more details)
