Birther Extraordinaire Gary Kreep Poised to Become Judge

Birther King–and lawyer for Birther Queen Orly Taitz–Gary Kreep is about to become a San Diego Superior Court judge.  The latest tally put out there by the San Diego County Registrar of Voters has Kreep leading Garland Peed by  a mere 56 votes in the race for the seat in Office 34.

If you’re not familiar with Gary Kreep (and really, why should you be?), take a read of the transcript of an interview he did with Thom Hartmann  back in August of 2009.

Pretty appalling that this is the guy that San Diego is going to choose to fill an important vacancy.  And frankly, I don’t like what it says about the San Diego electorate.

We might as well just send Orly Taitz to the United States Senate.

Andy, there’s still 135,000 uncounted votes for San Diego County. Kreep’s lead could vanish. Not over yet. The Registrar releases totals on Thursday, June 7th.

Maybe…….but you have to admit that it’s more than a little disconcerting that a guy like this would get such a serious look. For him to be in the lead at this point is just plain embarrassing for San Diego…..or maybe it’s not, and SD is merely showing it’s true colors?

Nope. Not surprising or disconcerting at all; except to a plutocrat like yourself who seems to believe that voters are too stupid to know what to vote for. Never mind that both candidates had funny last names. It didn’t have anything to do with the vote. Many of the post cards that I received in the mail contained an endorsement of one or the other. Turns out that voters are actually smarter than you Andy. They actually believe that you should vote for someone based on a variety of factors, and not just one single issue! Imagine that.

So if Peed, the #2 guy, comes back and wins this will the UTSD run the headline “Kreep Gets Peed On”?

I want to see his birth certificate. I’m not comfortable taking his word for it that he was born.

I’m with you. Let’s start a facebook page demanding that he release his birth certificate.

Let it be known that Frank Gormlie, Patty Jones, Doug Porter, Annie Lane, Brent Beltrán, Anna Daniels, and Rich Kacmar did something necessary and beautiful together for 6 1/2 years. Together, we advanced the cause of journalism by advancing the cause of justice. It has been a helluva ride. "Sometimes a great notion..." (Click here for more details)
