NATIONAL OVERNIGHT: Southwest Airlines gets in the mood for the Women’s March, via Daily Kos:

The main march for human rights will take place in Washington DC, with concurrent protests being held in other cities across the country.
NATIONAL BREAKING: Impeach Trump Campaign Underway
Via the Washington Post:
The effort to impeach President Donald John Trump is already underway.
At the moment the new commander in chief was sworn in, a campaign to build public support for his impeachment went live at ImpeachDonaldTrumpNow.org, spearheaded by two liberal advocacy groups aiming to lay the groundwork for his eventual ejection from the White House.
The organizers behind the campaign, Free Speech for People and RootsAction, are hinging their case on Trump’s insistence on maintaining ownership of his luxury hotel and golf course business while in office. Ethics experts have warned that his financial holdings could potentially lead to constitutional violations and undermine public faith in his decision-making.

NATIONAL OVERNIGHT: In Case You Missed This…

Lede from New York Times story
NATIONAL BREAKING: There have been reports of violence at scattered demonstration locations in Washington DC.
Via the Huffington Post:
Tweets from D.C. showed people smashing windows at a Bank of America location, and a Starbucks was vandalized at the intersection of 13th Street and I Street. It was unclear who was doing the damage.
Police were seen spraying liquid at protesters ― several reported getting pepper-sprayed on Twitter ― as the expectation of peace at the D.C. protests began to crumble.
“It’s a bunch of anarchists,” said one Secret Service agent. “Fun times. It’s what we expected.”
There were also peaceful demonstrations across the city. Protesters had any number of grievances with their new president, be it his policies, his Cabinet nominations or his encouragement of violence during the 2016 campaign.

NATIONAL OVERNIGHT–25,000 people gathered in New York last night to protest the incoming of Trump. Here’s Alec Baldwin:
NATIONAL OVERNIGHT– Trump’s early priorities, via Reuters:
Trump is expected to sign an executive order in his first few days to direct the building of a wall on the southern border with Mexico, and actions to limit the entry of asylum seekers from Latin America, among several immigration-related steps his advisers have recommended.
That includes rescinding Obama’s order that allowed more than 700,000 people brought into the United States illegally as children to stay in the country on a two-year authorization to work and attend college, according to several people close to the presidential transition team.
It is unlikely Trump’s order will result in an immediate roundup of these immigrants, sources told Reuters. Rather, he is expected to let the authorizations expire.

Trump Inaugural address: dark, bitter, nationalistic.
— Jeff Stein (@SpyTalker) January 20, 2017
NPR- Donald Trump was sworn in at noon as the 45th president of the United States, with the oath administered by U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts. The 70-year-old billionaire real estate mogul and former reality TV star becomes the first president ever to have neither prior political nor military service.
His wife Melania held two Bibles — a personal family Bible and the Bible that President Lincoln used at his first inauguration — and he was surrounded by his five children:

NATIONAL OVERNIGHT–VIA National Public Radio:
Washington, D.C., is a walled in — or at least fenced in — city today. Miles of chain-link fence, Jersey barriers and steel barricades line the streets and sidewalks for inauguration activities.
Officials say 28,000 law enforcement personnel are on hand, prepared (they hope) for pretty much anything — from drones (prohibited at all times in the airspace above Washington), to protesters. About 100 square blocks are closed to vehicle traffic.
There are Secret Service agents, Transportation Security Administration personnel, FBI agents, 2,800 D.C. police, 3,200 police from out of town and 7,800 National Guard troops. The Coast Guard will be patrolling the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers. Dump trucks, buses and other heavy vehicles are in place to deter possible vehicle attacks, like the kind that killed scores in Nice and Berlin last year.
Remember precisely how today feels, and commit to using every last shred of that angry energy for action.
He wins the moment we calm down.
