Trump Admin Targets Immigrants Using Food Stamps & Medicaid & Puts Millions of Children at Risk

Amy Goodman and Juan González of Democracy Now! talk with Marielena Hincapié of the National Immigration Law Center about a new proposal by the Trump administration to deny Green Cards to immigrants who participate to even a minor degree in a wide range of public assistance programs. This is the same issue that was recently covered in our recent repost from Common Dreams.

Since our platform is about expressing ideas and ideals instead of cash flow, clicks, or fundraising, we have the freedom to include a wide range of topics and formats that might not work elsewhere. You can not and should not separate these things: it is diversity and intersectionality that makes our movement strong.
