Progressive ActivistDid you know the San Diego Free Press publishes the Progressive Activist Calendar on Fridays? Each week we comb through hundreds of press releases, Facebook events, and organizational listings to bring our readers a one-stop shop for activist actions of every progressive persuasion in the region.

We include ten days of demonstrations, educational opportunities, organizing meetings, get-out-the-vote efforts, and cultural events. You’ll be amazed at just how many progressive happenings are taking place in San Diego.

It’s a huge undertaking. Sometimes we end up posting over 50 events. Each week we make a point of ‘boosting’ those posts on Facebook. Twenty bucks or so puts this information on the radar for thousands of people.

Help us continue to increase awareness of activism in America’s Finest Tourist Plantation.

Let it be known that Frank Gormlie, Patty Jones, Doug Porter, Annie Lane, Brent Beltrán, Anna Daniels, and Rich Kacmar did something necessary and beautiful together for 6 1/2 years.
