If you guessed San Diego Free Press, you’re right. Since 2012 we’ve published progressive voter guides in advance of every major election. While they do promote our endorsements –and we’re picky,– each voter guide includes links to all the candidates’ websites and handy emoji letting the reader know who else backs them. SDFP also provides analysis, links, and basic information about ballot measures along with information about whose money is supporting the choices voters are asked to make.

Tens of thousands of people rely on our research and advice in the weeks leading to elections. We’d like to expand our reach through social media promotions during 2018; in this time of Trump trauma getting educated voters to the polls is more important than ever. And we want our readers to have the information they need to select worthy candidates all the way down the ballot. After all, today’s school board member could be your next CongressCritter, or worse, they could be a tool for the education-industrial complex seeking to make tomorrow’s citizens into compliant followers of whatever garbage is being advertised.

Click here to make a secure PayPal donation of $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can. Small is scrumptious and big is beautiful!

You can also send a check via a snail mail because we love the United States Postal Service, and so do many of you.

Let it be known that Frank Gormlie, Patty Jones, Doug Porter, Annie Lane, Brent Beltrán, Anna Daniels, and Rich Kacmar did something necessary and beautiful together for 6 1/2 years. Together, we advanced the cause of journalism by advancing the cause of justice. It has been a helluva ride. "Sometimes a great notion..." (Click here for more details)
